Happy Long Weekend

Hope everyone has enjoyed their long weekend, it has been a great weekend for me!

Friday night my wife and I had dinner with my parents. Normally we watch Modern Family on Dvd after dinner but we have just finished season 4 and season 5 isn’t in stores yet. I put a request in HMV and it comes in some time in September. Instead we watched Good Will Hunting, a favorite movie of mine!

Saturday night I drove to Kitchener to see a buddy of mine. It was really good to see him! Its been a few months since I’ve seen him and maybe a year and a half since he and I hung out just the two of us. We had dinner at Turtle Jacks then went to his dads place and watched a bit of Brick Mansions which is a very entertaining movie!

Yesterday my wife and I had church in the morning then a pretty relaxing afternoon which included a nap! I love long weekends! We had a nice dinner with my wife’s aunt. We went to Swiss Challet in Pickering near her place. The food was good but the service was kind of slow. A nice evening with her though!

Today so far has been pretty relaxing. I’ve just been roaming around on the computer, checking out facebook, twitter and such. My wife and I should be watching Saturday night’s episode of Doctor Who which we pvr’d, I can’t wait to watch that!

This is the start of a new week & new month & I hope to get back into blogging more regularly. I have not been very consistent with my blogging but have thought about it often! I hope you all are well and have had a great weekend! Also I hope all my friends who are students or teachers have a great first day back to school or work tomorrow!
