- http://bible.com/r/4.M I just finished day 22 of Canonical Bible reading plan at YouVersion.com
Today I read from The Book Of Exodus chapters 13, 14 & 15. The Israelites complained a fair amount to Moses during these chapters.
In chapter 14 vs10-11 when God had Pharaoh change his mind and chase after them again. The Israelites complained why were brought out to die in the wilderness, were there not enough graves in Egypt? They also said they would have rather stayed in Egypt. When things the first time things got rough and they complained wanting to go back to the way things were before.
I can relate to the Israelites as there have been many times I haven’t trusted God as I maybe should have and complained at the smallest things. How about yourself? Is there a time or moment in your life where you didn’t trust God as you should have? How have you grown since that experience?
I as we all are am a work in progress and I’m glad that God is a patient and loving God who doesn’t leave us alone when we make mistakes or mess up! He loves us and is always there and I’m grateful for that!
The Lord went ahead of them. He guided them during the day with a pillar of cloud, and he provided a light at night with a pillar of fire. This allowed them to travel by day or by night. And the Lord did not remove the pillar of cloud or the pillar of fire from its place in front of the people. Exodus Chapter 13 verses 21-22
